THE
DKRA MAKES FUNDRAISING EASY FOR NON-PROFITS
The
DKRA has developed a discount card with 18 of the most prominent
restaurants in downtown Kalamazoo. This card is a great opportunity
for non-profit organizations throughout Kalamazoo to raise money
for their group! The DKRA will pay for the cards to be printed,
and 50% of the proceeds will go directly to the selling non-profit.

DOWNTOWN
KALAMAZOO, MI —For
the second year, the Downtown Kalamazoo Restaurant Association will
release a discount card. Valid at 18 (plus) restaurants in and around
downtown, this card will provide discounts ranging from 10% off
food bill to buy one, get one free entrée.
These
cards will be released around April 1, 2006, and will be valid until
April 1, 2007. Cardholders may use these discounts an unlimited
number of times until card expires.
Just
like last year, the DKRA will make these cards available to local
nonprofit organizations to sell. The cards, marked $10 each, will
net $5 for the selling nonprofit organization. (There is no
limit to the number of cards a single nonprofit may sell.)
Cards
can be purchased at the following DKRA locations:
- Pasta Pasta
- Bimbo's Pizza
- Michigan News
- Kalamazoo Animal Rescue
- Epic Bistro
- Black Swan

Nonprofits are
encouraged to pre-order their cards now, which would allow them
to have the first cards available to the general public. To order
cards or request more information, please contact Anne Elias at
