Membership Criteria

Must be a food service operator (provide retail sale of food and beverage)

Restaurant location must be located in downtown Kalamazoo (defined as:

The DDA District, or Village Street/Mills/Kings Highway/Kalamazoo Ave/Michigan Ave, whichever is more encompassing.)

Membership Expectations

Timely payment of dues, amounting to $120.00/year per downtown location (businesses with more than one location are required to pay dues for each location)

A commitment to become a Downtown Ambassador   

Reasonable participation and involvement, as is determined by the group

Success

The success of the DKRA depends solely on the level of commitment of its members. Together, everyone achieves more: more advertising for the dollar, more recognition, more community awareness, a greater voice in local matters. As a contributing member, these are all achievable. But a solid commitment is necessary from every member for us to reach our full potential.
